Vertigo Performance is proud to introduce our Quick Change Clutch Carrier Unit for the HPI Baja..
Vertigo Performance Clutch Carrier unit has been in development for almost a year and will be available in 3 Configurations;
1. Open
2. Vented


Vertigo Performance Clutch Carrier unit will also include our Vertigo Performance Hex Drive Vented Clutch Bell with a 12mm hex (Same design as the clutch bell/Pinion gear we produce for the Losi 5ive-T) and 15x32x9mm Sealed bearings.
12mm hex means your clutch bell won't fail when loaded with some of the Big Horsepower Engines available on the market now days.

The really cool thing is you after removal of the Spur gear and cover the clutch bell will be in your hand in about 1 minute.

That is an excellent piece of work! Will this work with the stock clutchbells, or only with your brand of clutch bells? It sure looks like it will increase the strength of that side of the baja too.

We have designed our new carrier with the Vertigo Performance 12mm Hex drive (15mm shaft) vented clutch Bell in mind which we include with the unit.
The bell and pinion will be similar to the unit shown in this post. We feel this is a far superior design to the key-way design currently found on the HPI Baja.
Vertigo Performance Pinion gears seat onto a 12mm hex.

I'm not sure of the question.. If you are asking will the Hex drives with the 7mm hex for the stock carrier configuration continue to be available, the answer is yes.
With regards to the Vented cover we currently have, we discontinued the covers nearly a year ago, DDM bought out our entire stock and still have a few left.

Have you got some more pics from different angles?
How did you make the clutch cover clear the rear top brace when removing the Quick change clutch? will this work with a TR top rear brace that has that loop of alloy around the front of the brake disc that is always in the way when removing the clutch carrier
