I have a DDM TR103 5000mAh battery in my 5sc.

Just curious if it is ok to only partial charge it?
Also is it ok to re-charge it when it isnt completely dead?

I think it should be ok seeing how its a Ni-MH battery but just want to make sure..

Thanks

They charge slow and do not stop charing once the battery is full. It is just a slow contant charge. You can use it but battery life (number of charge / discharge cycles) will suffer.

A good battery charger is just one of the tools that is required for the RC hobby in general. It will work but I would plan on getting something a little better.

careful of them eBay chargers especially if your doing Lipo or life batteries . they are cheap for a reason as usual , will most likely under charge or over charge , there have been comparisons on YouTube with false readings .

nimh has no "memory" like the old ni-cad you can top it off anytime with no issues. it is best to recharge every 3 months when in storage.if you don't you could possibly damage a cell from lack of voltage.that seems to be the only real issue with this chemistry, once they go flat it is highly unlikely it will ever come around again.
