Bartolone Racing Twin Cylinder Debut
Chris Bartolone and I finally finished our 5T twin cylinder project last Friday and debuted it Sat at the Chase Bajamug event last Sat. Chris and I finished the twin last Friday night after Chris' new custom twin pipes were finished. These pipes are the best looking I have ever seen and are designed specifically for this application to get the most performance out of the twin air cooled 25.4 zen ported cylinders. Chris CNC ported the cylinders for max performance that sit on top of the RCMK 2nd gen S520 bottom end that uses the new 1 piece twin crank. The engine fits in perfectely with the custom mounts and layshaft kit that we designed. Best of all the engine is centered in the chassis and looks like it was meant to be there. We are using the STOCK fuel tank as well. This conversion is quite simple to install with the kit that we designed and everything thing fits perfectly under the Team Chase cage for ultimate protection.

We fired the twin up for the first time early Sat morning and the sound was unreal. After some break in we opened it up on the street and it left me speachless. I cannot compare it to anything else I have ever driven. I think this engine is putting out at least 12 HP and it revs to the moon! We will be testing more this weekend with the temp gun to see where we are at. We are running PUMP GAS! Video will be up soon!

The kit is about ready and will include everything to mount the RCMK engine. Chris Bartolone will be releasing more information shortly!

No way! This is bringing the baja to another level! I'm liking it! Another option for use maniacs!! I can't wait for someone to stuff a 351 Windsor into a baja! LoL! Would love to see some vid and hear some pricing and availability!

Do you run it on methanol to keep the temp down....

See now that you are running on pump gas.

Thats pretty epic guys, good work, cant wait to see the video of this thing, and the sound must be awesome.

Does the kit still use the stock HPI rear chassis/engine plate, or did you guys have to make a new one? Regadless, the kit looks great, very clean.

Congrad guys. Now, I can't wait to see this baja set up go over 100mph. I guess the next level is 200mph. Start thinking guys about 200mph, I know you can do it.

How is the transmission and drive cups etc holding up to the extra HP?

Details on motor/pipe and chassis prices please.......

I'm running stock cups with the DS Toobs and they seem to be holding up Great! I've hardly ran this car. I do have a 62 as well and the drive train holds up very well!

I will keep everyone updated on the progress. We are going to run the crap out of it this weekend!
