They look pretty good, I wonder if you could just remove the shaft they use and replace it with one of our Baja shock shafts and have it work? They look way to short to fit a 5b & 5T

Are you sure they don't mean the cv "baja" line?

These are killer. I will be getting these for sure once they come out. Expensive if price is about the same looks like about $550 for compleate set but looks to be worth it in adjustabillity.

These shocks are for 1/5 scale touring cars. Typically FG uses a 4mm shaft. Not sure about the Mecatech ones
A 1/5 touring shocks have MINIMAL amounts of travel (appx 20-25mm TOTAL). Unfortunately your idea will not work....see pic below
On the left is a carlson shock (FG "MED" Shock)
In the middle is a rear FG Marder shock Deanodized & Shortened 15 mm (FG "Long" Shock)
On the left is a REar Baja Shock

Those shocks are so cool. It's what the baja surely needs. I'd get a set if and when they become available for a baja. Guess we just gotta e-mail the company if it's been a while to find out if they will or have canceled the idea of making them for bajas. Great vid but it's a bit hard to listen to since the audio is not in sink with the video.
