Walbro 257 throttle arm
Hi,
Just got a brand new 257 carb brom Ebay, but it came without throttle arm.
I tried all that I have in spare but non of them fit, and I dont have time to play with modifying throttle shaft, is there any place I can get throttle arm for this carb?
Or can you fit standard throttle shaft instead?

Yes, but I have a ton of those from 668's, 603's and 813's non of them fits, just noticed that end of the shaft that holds the arm has also 2 flat sides, but it's not machined like any other.
I've just tried hardened steel throttle shaft and it fits perfectly, just wondering where to get proper throttle arm for this carb, cause this one on ddm doesnt fit.

Try emailing or calling Gizmomotors he seems to have TONS of Walbro parts and should be able to help you out, he saved the day last year for me when I needed some carb parts..
I've linked you to all the 257 parts but I am not sure what you are looking for or really need either but I am sure he would know..
Good luck Stegy

This is the arm I use on my 257. I tried to make the other Walbro arms fit but my files are too big
