LiFe battery feedback
We've built and sold about 100 LiFe receiver packs now. I would like to know how you guys are liking the packs, and what kind of performance you're getting. This is a public and multiple choice poll.

As soon as I get my charger from Nate, the reference you have on your site, and run a few I will let you know. I am coming from using a 3S 2200mah lipo and they already feel lighter and I know it is safer as well.

I've had my LIFE pack for what 6 months or so only been able to use it in the 5T about 5 times, only had to charge it once so far.. I love it, no more worrying about a drained pack, and it doesnt fall off and loose power like the NIMH packs did.. I am running 2 Ramtech Leds with it at times too! I'll be picking up another LIFE pack for the 5B by Summer, and I hope to see some LIFE packs for our Transmitters from Killer RC

i ve only been able to use the pack a bit as i got it late last fall. so my running wasnt consecutive or back to back. couple tanks here, tank there ect. but i m pretty sure i had at least 5 tanks thru, and i want to say 7 more realistically.
but... i didnt keep a marked talley.
servo response is much better from on to charge with the pack.
and the loss of weight is great imo. im very happy with them.
so much so, im about to get a 2nd one for the Hooters rebuild im 1/2 into.

I've been running mine for awhile and has never failed on me. I am very happy with the step up to Life batts. My rhino servo and 7995tg t/b servo respond better and are hungry little suckers and this battery compliments them well.
I would love to see if Life packs could be made for the 3pm model radio as well, you already have one for he 4PK if I'm not mistaken.
Thanks for the great set up.

Love mine, I am not sure of run time cause I really haven't put that many tanks on the car since getting it. My steering throttle had a lot more power and speed with the pack compared to the battery I was running, did not notice a lot out of the throttle but it was a digital high torque servo that was tuned down from the get go.
My only gripe is the pack sits a little higher in the battery box so I had to reposition my switch that is mounted on top of the battery box cover, not really a big deal at all though.
Very happy with the pack and when the time comes I will get another !!!!

Yeah, if you have put the on/off switch in your lid you might have to move it forward. In the corner by the antenna is a good spot. Also, shave off that plastic nub on the inside of the battery box to let the battery sit down a little lower.

at one of my last races I started with a fully charged pack.
After 1 hour of practice, 4 Q's, a semi A-main, and a full A-main, a couple of days later I charged the pack and my charger showed it only had to put 1327mAh in to fill it up again!

Yes. About 100 grams lighter than the stock pack. And about 200 grams lighter than a NiMh 4500ma pack.

I have run 3 tanks easily through my 5b with the Killer LiFe pack. With having a 5b and a 5T, I usually do not get more than a couple tanks on each Baja in a day. I am sure I could get more tanks out of it on a charge, but I have not due to the shorter days of winter (I do not like to get up early, especially when it is a little cool outside).

I'm loving mine.
Great performance.
I put down that I get about 2-3 tanks out of my battery because that is all I usually run.
It doesn't take much to get it back to full charge.
I'll bet it would be more like 3-4+ tanks.

I think someone should try to push it because I can get like 2 - 3 tanks out of my stock 5B 2.0 battery. I would love to know how many tanks it could get before it wont run

I could get two+ tanks out of my stock battery as well, But at the end of the second tank it was steering real slow & weak.
