*New* Killer Bee 2
The Killer Bee 2 functions like the original Killer Bee, but the KB2 can work with a 2 channel radio. It can also be useful with 3 or 4 channel radios, allowing you to free up your channels to control LED headlights and stuff. With the KB2 there is no radio setup at all. You just need a Y-splitter cable.
*Important update*
The Killer Bee v2 is not recommended for Spektrum or Nomadio brand radios. Spektrum and Nomadio radios have a built in failsafe that cannot be disabled. Even if you don't have the failsafe set, the receiver will still send a signal telling the servo to return to center position. This signal overrides the kill switch. The Killer Bee v2 will actually kill the engine for 1 second once you turn off the transmitter power, but after 1 second the receivers failsafe kicks in and overrides the kill switch, turning the kill switch back on, and allowing the engine to run. That 1 second delay might be enough to kill your engine, but it's not guaranteed. With a Nomadio radio you definitely need to stick with a v1 Killer Bee. The Nomadios don't have a delay at all.

+1 Topper, also for those who want to upgrade to a 2.4gig radio but are on a budget and are looking at the inexpensive 2ch 2.4gig radio

Or for those that want to use that 3rd channel for something else such as front brakes! When will these be available from vendors?

Yes. Front brakes too.
Hostile Hobby should have a few of them right now. If it's not on their site give them a call or email. They have the #3 wiring kits with the new Killer Bee 2.
Also Predator RC in Australia should have some on Ebay soon.

That's awesome. Nice videos. Kent you are King of the Kill Switch. I don't think the art of engine killing could be perfected any more. LOL

What? Replace your Pico or Killer Bee with the Killer Bee 2 then you can do whatever you want with ch 3.
Watch the videos again.
