My Terminator project

Pic taken a few days ago from my phone. The rollcage is about 80% done...then the front bumper and remainder of the body will be designed. I'm officially changing the theme of this project to the Terminator. I'm going to have the Terminator painted on the front windshield, with red leds for the eyes.

Painting this on the windshield...

One more picture I forgot to post...the HBZ cage is next to it.

Pretty cool. What are those toggle switches used for? I would be concerned about them being actuated during a rollover or something.

Seems to me another vertical support would be needed in the front.. Curious to find out how well it works out.....

Yeah, there will be another set of vertical supports connected by 2 cross bars like on the roof. The toggle switches will be relocated once I get to work on the body...and they will be shielded...probably going to replace the switches with booted ones since this is primarily going to be run on the beach.

Are the switches for 1) main power, 2) kill switch, & 3) lights?

Can't wait to see it completed..

It'll handle fine. It's been widened considerably...by using the FLM's, plus the AMS FG adapters and the 9in tires in the rear. The wheelbase (the center of each wheel from front to back) is 35in. Whitesock Eng is supposed to be coming out with a new dual shock conversion kit that also widens the rear by 3.5"...but the last I heard it that it'll be another month or 2 before it comes out.

Right now it only has 1 Modified RC tank...maybe down the road I might try to link another Modified tank to it to increase run time. But this economy is killing me...I can't afford this project anymore!

Quite unfortunately, that is becoming a recurring theme with many of the extreme projects out there. Let alone the normal buggies. Keep your head up bud. Awesome work there.
