Hydraulic front disc brakes...
I have just bought a FG-Magura front disc brake set. I'm planning to make the neccesary arrangements for it to be mounted on the Baja, and with the FG adapters on the way the issue with the discs themselves not being able to fit the hubs I should be close to the finish line.
Hopefully I'm driving happy around with them in a near future.

Where did you get the hydrolic set up? I think Brice_Arnold has the adapters you are looking for but I think his are for the stock set up though.

It's a standard FG set for their models. It can be bought in evere store that has FG parts I would guess...
I know the conversion kit is available, but I don't think it would be a problem to make the mounting plate itself. It's the discs I'm worrried about.

Sorry never bought FG parts thats why I was asking. And I have never been able to find the hydrolic ones. I was just asking where you got them?

I'm planning on trying that. For now however I will try with the front wheels first.

4 wheel hydros might be a way to go, it might help to free up a little friction in the driveline which would be a good thing

So, now I have solved the problem with mounting of the brake discs.
If the backside of the hex is milled down into the shape of the FG square, then the original FG-Magura discs ca be mounted ON THE EXISTING HEX. And if I later on decide to switch to the FG adapters and FG wheels...well then I just make the switch and don't have to think about the disc mounting again.
The next days should provide me with a nice system.

Don't seem like he has the solution to the Baja problem?!
It isn't listed on the site anyways.

I have been looking again, and I can't see the hydraulic brakes FOR THE BAJA. If they are there, can you please show me where?

ok, here in the states, there is NOT a BAJA specific hydro brake set. Python carries B&Ts rotor plates and mod pieces to use on the Baja. ATM, they have a cable kit availabe for 199.99 i think it is with servo. 179.99 w/o servo. they are also going to have a hydro kit available fairly soon that will fit right on the baja with B&Ts pieces for the baja.
the kit Zorn linked are the baja kits you see on ebay for 290.00. imo, way to much for cable brakes.

I can't find it on the site. Which relates pretty good to the mail that Hobbythek wrote to me 2 weeks ago, when they stated that their onlyt front braking system was the mechanical.
If you know where the info specifically is, can you please link to it?
