How can it be on the left side without obstructing the fuel tank cap or overlapping overtop of the battery box lid?

Not abandoned, they're just on hold. The 5T got released quicker than first thought!!!
I think HPI and Santa made a deal for 2008.
I got into the B model a tad late, I was ready for this one!
TGN and DDM have the market covered with the B model.
