Sticky brakes? here is the cure

I have been running my Baja in a sand pit and it's been great. The one thing I noticed is the brakes sticking, usually it only happens in the soft & deep sand.
I tried removing the brake pad shim, to give the brake pads & discs more clearance, but then the brake cam lever had too much movement and would not release the brakes properly. So I put the shim back in.
I then put 2 small springs in between the pads, on the shafts that the pads slide on. They apply outward pressure on the pads which gives a little more disc to pad clearance. The brakes have not stuck after doing this.

So if anyone is having trouble try the springs, you could probably use springs from an ink pen, cut them short so they give just enough pressure to keep the pads apart.

The Baja rocks
