ESP 30.5cc Installed into Road Racer

Well - just got round to installing the 30.5 into the old baja.
Had some fun, particularly over the last couple of days testing her out - and man shes on fire! Heres some pics from tonight - it was a great sunset.........................
see...

Thought I'd share the installation and some of the typical mods done during the install - Anyway pics say a lot more as we all know, so here goes -

A - 30.5 ESP - thanks DDM/Doug. B - Engine underside intake alu mesh, C - Pull starter alu mesh

E - stcok manifold changed to F, ADA billet mainfold / teflon gaskets
G, H - Engine mounting tab dremelled away. I - engine cover projecting tab cut back

J - Stock inner filter oiled and greased lip, K - TGN pre filter all oiled up. N - outerwears nicely wraps up the package.

O - Elcon clutch arrives! P - Elcon parts - dark springs used. Q -Hex screw heads slighlty ground for clearance of clutch bell (TR steel). R - detail of screw head

Engine prepped and ready for install

S - Stock clutch removal and elcon install using piston stopper and flywheel puller. T - pull starter outerwears velcro applied. U - Ramtech clutch bell holder, Modified RC's Clucth cover and Turtle Racing Steel clutch bell installed.
V - Robinson Racing 18/55 top speed set installed.
W- Modified RC's gear cover and FatboyRC's billet pins installed.

X - pull starter outerwears fitted. Y - Done!
Z - old 23cc mesh mod held up just perfect - Glue - Evo Stick 'Serious Glue' -30deg-+130degC.

Finally just a few comments re the running -

Its certainly a lot harder to pull due to the compression etc over the 23 stocker - took me by surprise.
Took ages to get it running! Unwittingly flooded the engine - went thru the usual procedures found on the forum.
Up and running great.
Followed Dougs instructions to the letter re carb tuning / plug colour etc.
Had a lotta fun this evening......it's an awesome engine! - but you already knew that!!

Yep - more tyres are on order! - some HH mini MX meds should be here soon -want to see what traction these have, and also waiting for the slicks.

Very nice looking baja, perhaps a nice billet wing to finish it off?
