I really need your opinion in this. I'm so confused I have no idea which to chose. I love the SC its so amazing, the realistic tires and review I get from my friends. I know both are different scales however they are around the same. If I'm going to get the traxxas slash I'll fully mod it with RPM parts. I would love to have the slash waterproof option. They're about the same price. I'm not up for speed or racing, I'm for extreme durability reasons. Both are 4x4. I'm leaning to the traxxas slash for being waterproof.

Help ?

Slash ultimate my choice. The Hpi apache is built like a tank, therefore making it slow of its weight.

Actually I have ran an Apache an I would say the Apache would smoke the Slash any day of the week. HOWEVER, both are extremely durable, but the Slash is waterproof, which is why I too, would choose the Slash.

Take a look at the Team Associate SC8e (not SC8.2e)

I have the Slash Platinum Edition, the thing is absolutely awesome. Tons of aftermarket parts available... I think I have every RPM option available! Now that I'm moving back to CA I'm thinking of selling it and getting a 2wd SCT like my boys.
