WildChild PRO version

Over the past couple years DPR has been developing what we feel is the optimal set up for the Zenoah.
We are proud to introduce our newest developement, the Pro version of our WildChild engine line up.

All new piston design has been added for less cylinder wall drag, optimal transfer port flow and improved port timing.
We are offering an in house, highly modified CY piston, We have found that the CY piston offers supperiour casting in the wrist pin area for better flow through the transfer ports and a more accurate and consistent placement for the wrist pin. We also relieve the top portion of the piston to prevent cold siezures as well as relieving the wrist pin area to prevent siezure and limit the amount of cylinder wall drag.

We have also found the CY intake manifold to provide a better sealing surface between the manifold and cylinder. The intake manifold is port matched to each cylinder for optimal flow.

These new modifications are only available in our PRO line of engines.

I find the CY manifolds to work very well and they are alot more economical. I also like the idea that if for some reason the threads get fouled in the CY you can replace the nylock where the Laut you can not.

Great Bob, pushing the wild child even further forward.....

Are you planning on making these available in a long block form? When the current WC that we have is in need of a refresh, how much to upgrade it to a pro version?

Hi interested in getting one of these for my baja. Which engine is going to be the best for good acceleration and topend. I have a 5b which I am converting to a 5t with one of these engines do I have to change the gear in the gearbox to run 5t wheels Also what difference does the +3mm & +5mm make.

Please advise so I can make the correct choice.

Thanks

Rav

Personally I prefer the power delivery in the 5mm for racing, all out bashing the standard length 29.5 with a Victory BB in the truck is my favorite.

No need to change the buggy gearing out, I run the 20T gearing in all of my trucks without issue and am able to pull any standard gear set available.

Replied to your PM also, thanks for the interest.

+1... call it a little bit of a "bonus" gearing upgrade on the 5T wheels...
