that is sick. I don't know if I will be able to step up to a motor like that. it looks like it is going to cost a lot of money to replace broken parts. the drive trains are going to have a hard time taking all that power

Tempe video 6 of 15
Video 6, Michael's (Mick270) Hpi Baja BZM Standard 50cc, another beast unleashed out of the stables. This is virgin fresh, Michael fired it up for the first time at tempe. He is running it in. Wheelies are no issue under run in mode. Enjoy

Urr .. I have been having problems with the clutch stalling issues so far ...
I got the same gears you have from Lee Watson, however the pinion was rubbing the gear plate and unscrewing those screws ..
Here it is anyways ..

Yes I am using TR enclosed too. I have been real loaded with work lately and couldn't even look at my rigs ... and last weekend I had a karting event also which consumed the whole weekend. Hopefully this weekend I will have some baja time
I will install a new clutch with new spring 9.5K rated and will see how it goes.

I'm going to order some Kevlar shoes from MMR if he has stock available not that I require them just in case.
Will be good to see some nice Vids from you.

I had the same problem with the Spur gear.
What I done was heat the gear center and then tighten the grub screws no need for thread lock. As when the gear cools it locks itself on.
Since I have done this they have been hanging in there a treat.
The clutch is a problem for us all we are working on a solution right now.
