Baja 5b Hot Racing rezzies?

Has anyone bought these? I went against my better judgement and bought a set of four for $50. When I bought them it said "not for baja ss", I said to myself " I don't have a ss, I have a V1". When they arrived, I tried them on my V1 shocks and they don't fit. They look real nice and are machined with good tolerances. I thought all the shocks ( hpi and aftermarket ) threads were the same. Any ideas other than " You should of saved you money and bought "Threshold Rezzies"".
