Broken Front mount

Hey all,
just broke my front mount and right lower A-arm. Hit a tree... only tree in the area and I hit the f!!king thing.

Anyways, I thought it was only a broken A-arm, after realized more damage the broken front mount that basically holds everything together broke as well and has to be replaced. I just ordered a new hpi one.

Question I have. Where can I get a metal one? What would you all recommend. - aside from hitting trees...

DDM... Either Threshold or Golden Horizons for the front bulkhead. I'd get the TR top plate, Scorpion Unlimited chassis and chassis brace and a front bumper depending on if you have a B, T or SC.

I would personally stay with the stock plastic bulkhead. And invest into a igloo front bumper and Turtle racing top plate. You want some plastic as a weak point so something will give and not transfer the impact to a more expensive or vital part. Goodluck bud. And it must have been some tree that jumped out in front of you.......

You could also add an extra alu stock front brace link to the other end of the bulkhead to stiffen it and get the flex out.

Allard thanks for the tip I was just thinking that too. Dif should have metal brace at back to counter the torsion.

Welcome Remember when using rpm upper arms you have to trim some plastic to fit the brace. good luck
