I'm almost positive street price will be around $225-250 or so for the CF chassis.
After all, their Baja truck/Beetle bodies are $225 MSRP but go for $150-165 street.

I happily accept that the $349 is a manufacturers recommended retail price. I expect a street price of between $280-$320. My interest in the price is from a competition point of view only.

True, but the distributor percentage happens to be different on the CF chassis than most of their other parts (like clear bodies). Unless Pro-Line's pricing changes, you'll never see the CF chassis in the $225-$250 range. Our retail price will be around $325, so after coupon code etc you'll be looking at around $310 shipped.

For the record Silverback RC will not be manufacturing a carbon fibre or graphite chassis.

It's OUT, http://www.prolineracing.com/p-706-c...baja-5b5t.aspx
Heavier than the rest of the Carbon Chassis on the market , but these words inspire me
Durability – The Carbon Fiber multi-layered finish creates strength and durability like no other. Hour and hours of running on track, in fields and testing head-on into objects ensure that you have the durability you’ve grown to know and love about your 5B/5T.
Hurry Up Mr Postman!!!
